A jungle adventure is waiting. Jungle bungalows in a bird sanctuary!!! Where you can enjoy Belize at its best and it's creatures without sacrificing creature comforts. The 18 acre resort is a noted jungle bird sanctuary, nestled on the shore of the beautiful Sittee River just 3 miles from Hopkins on the Hopkins/Sittee Village Loop Rd. An eco-tourists delight with all the natural (and cultivated) flora and fauna one could want. Accommodations are a series of screened in, elevated, rustic mahogany and pine bungalows (no dry wall or secondary interior surfaces here) that bring you close to nature with that natural feeling.
      Birding is our specialty, with feed stations, blinds, and natural trails in our TaTa Dehundee Wildlife Park and campground. Center piece of the beauty of this location is frontage on the banks of the Sittee River. The river, tributaries, and Lagoons that are teeming with fish such as tarpon, snook, barracuda, jack crevalle, etc. Canoeing and kayaking in these waters will reveal manatee, iguanas, and... yes crocodiles (guides are always recommended).
      We are only 3 miles from beaches and PADI dive/snorkeling facilities that specialize in diving the Great Belize Barrier Reef. Just minutes away are ancient Mayan Temples, wild animal preserves, hiking trails, waterfalls, cave tubing, horseback riding and so much more. We can arrange for those adventures!!! We are less than 100 yards from the embarkation point for Glover's Atoll Resort.
